Frequently asked questions…..
WHAT CAN I BRING TO CLASS?
Please arrive at class ready to go!
BKD Uniform and a onesie or tracksuit, a bottle of water and your hair tied up for the class. Dancers must have CLEAN dance shoes to dance in. Musical Theatre students should have jazz shoes or black ballet shoes.
WHEN DOES TERM START?
You can find all the TERM DATES here and classes are held at Kingfield Primary School throughout the week in addition to Woking United Reformed Church on Wednesdays.
Silver Swans classes are held at Virginia Park Chapel on Mondays and St Johns Memorial Hall on Wednesdays and Fridays.
What ages do you provide classes for?
We offer a range of classes for 2 - 102 year olds!
Can we trial the class before signing up?
Yes absolutely! We offer a 3 week trial so you can try out the class before committing. Once you complete your trial you can sign up with confidence! The magic 3 weeks gives you and your child a chance to really get to know the school and settle in before making a decision. The younger the students the more important the 3 week trial is as little ones learn so differently to adults and older children.
How much does a trial class pass cost?
A 3 week trial class pass costs just £21.00 and is non refundable
How can I book a trial?
All the classes that offer a trial are available on our booking system HERE
*Please note some classes may be full so you will be placed on the waiting list or offered an alternative where possible
What should I wear to a trial or first class?
For you to have the best experience at BKD Performers we recommend wearing clothes you feel comfortable in and suitable for your chosen class. A t-shirt and leggings/tracksuit trousers and bare feet is absolutely fine for most dance classes. For street funk and Musical Theatre we would suggest a clean pair of trainers.
WHY CAN’T I JUST DO A FREE TRIAL?
We have found that just one class simply isn’t enough to know if you will enjoy something or not, especially for our younger students. We also invest a great deal of energy in ensuring new students feel welcome and get the best experience.
Often the first class is full of brand new faces and new challenges and you may find your little one is too shy to get stuck in! After 3 classes you will most definitely see a change and make an informed decision about whether the class is right for you.
